Founded in 2019 by Dr. Kari Logan, a naturopathic doctor, herbalist, acupuncturist, biofeedback practitioner, and gardener, Mae Botanicals is the embodiment of her love of plants and small-batch skin care that’s responsibly grown, harvested, and crafted.

Kari's training as a naturopathic doctor and Chinese herbalist gives her extensive knowledge about plants and formulations, while her practice as a witch helps her build caring relationships with plants that can be felt in each oil, salve, and body butter she makes. A lover of plants, Kari grows or wildcrafts each one used in Mae Botanicals creations. Every part of production—from preparing the soil for seeds to harvesting to processing and packaging—is sustainably done by hand with ritual, love, and intention.

Kari's hope is that each person who uses Mae Botanicals feels that care and ritual for themselves as they take time to use these products. And, through that care for themselves, they’re able to care for the earth, the plants, and all living creatures who have worked so hard to bring this gift of care. When we find this act of care, we also find our ritual.
