Resonant Frequency Glow Serum
Ultra-brightening, glow-restoring retinol analog
An unmistakably effective brightening, energizing, and age supportive retinol-analog serum. Frankincense resin and n-acetyl glucosamine stimulate cell renewal and amplify skin's innate vibrancy. 7% niacinamide works to clarify, calm, firm, and brighten uneven skin tone. Resonant Frequency is SO magical, SO effective, and SO special that it feels like words can't really express the exquisite nature of this potion. When Heart of Gold’s founder and magic-making herbalist, Ally, connects with it intuitively, she sees castle spires shrouded in mist, and glowing forest spirits a la Miyazaki.
aqueous extracts of boswellia sacra (royal hojari frankincense) resin, boswellia carterii (somali frankincense) resin & olea europaea (olive) leaf extract, niacinamide, leuconostoc/radish root ferment filtrate & lactobacillus & cocos cucifera (coconut) fruit extract, n-acetyl glucosamine (shellfish derived), birch xylitol, malva sylvestris flower essence, alcea rosea flower essence, d-ribose, xanthan gum, essential oils of helichrysum italicum, clary sage, roman chamomile, parsley seed & thyme, potassium sorbate.

**not vegan due to n-acetyl glucosamine, which is shellfish-derived**
Apply 3-5 drops to clean, very damp skin after cleansing and toning, before oilserum or balm. Mix with a few drops of toner, hydrolat, or water for instant absorption. Follow with nectar, oilserum, or balm. May be used in the morning or evening, or both if you're aiming for a speedy transformation. Pro tip: mixes beautifully with oilserums for a bespoke emulsion.
++ niacinamide warning++ due to the high niacinamide content, resonant frequency should not be layered with acid pH products, especially l-ascorbic, glycolic, lactic, malic, and mandelic. if it is layered with an acid pH product, the niacinamide can convert to nicotinic acid which causes a harmless but annoying rosy flush.
Heart of Gold is the life path of herbalist / esthetician / massage therapist / intuitive Ally Draizin. She believes there are no miracle products, but there are magical products. Every Heart of Gold product is made by hand in Heart of Gold’s Portland, Oregon studio: infused with vibrational medicine, intuition, loving intention, and nutrient-rich whole plants sourced with integrity - many from small, local farmers. Extracts are vibrantly and lovingly brought into being in-house, and many hydrosols used in Heart of Gold’s creations come to life in Ally’s copper still. Ally also uses the discernment of 22 years as an esthetician to manifest products that feel good, smell good, and work beautifully.
Ally believes that self-care is an act of love…a benediction. And that to make real, lasting change in our skin, we need to look closely at our lives as a whole. The real transformation comes from learning to listen to our bodies and being tuned in to and receptive of our body’s needs. Her work comes from the heart…an expression of unconditional love. And if she could recommend one product? She wouldn’t. She would recommend a good night’s sleep, a 10 minute meditation, and a big glass of water.
Her goal with Heart of Gold is to bring more love, compassion, and gentleness into your life. Her goal isn’t to heal your skin, your skin has an infinite capacity to heal itself. Her goal is to connect your skin with its own infinite healing ability.
Ally’s Golden Rules (we love these so much!):
Your relationship with the world is a reflection of your relationship with yourself. Allow room in your life for self care. Love yourself, seek new ways to be kind to yourself.
The health of your skin is a reflection of the health of your whole being. Your skin can be a barometer of physical & emotional well-being. Learn to listen to your body, and allow that awareness to be your guiding compass.
Zen philosophy encourages us to be fully present in every moment. Enjoy the time you are given. Incorporate the things that nourish your soul & bring joy into everyday life.
Nothing is chemical-free. Even an empty bottle contains chemicals (air is a chemical). Aim for authenticity, in your actions, in what you consume, in your life. Stay centered in your intuition, be realistic, and always consider the source.
Ask not what plants can do for you, but what you can do for the planet. Be a caretaker of our fragile ecosystem. This should be an integral part of the green beauty movement. Don't seek to acquire, to consume. Seek to connect, to soften. Allow your own beauty, and the beauty of the world around you, to sustain your heart.
