La Abeja Herbs

Rose Petal Elixir

$18.00

$24.00

Oh, sweet, sweet rose. Her botanical medicine is perhaps one of the most ancient known to humans. Used for everything from menstrual complaints to liver congestion, rose inspires not only poetry and romance, but also deep, expansive nourishment and health. Its blossom aid us in recalling the sweetness - the beauty - the sanctity - of life. Rose is unabashed in her beauty and uniqueness, and it is the powerful protection provided by the thorns of the plant that allow for this expression of fullness without fear or apology. Rose Petal Elixir helps you to embody this same courage and to live as the most sincere + vulnerable version of yourself, trusting that you are always protected.

1fl oz

organic red rose petals, essences of rose quartz and pearl, wildflower honey, distilled spirits

Enjoy in one to twelve drop doses alone or in water up to six times a day.

A nomad’s apothecary, La Abeja Herbs is a dream realized for master herbalist and folk healer Sophia Rose. She is a woman who listens closely to the singing of Mother Earth’s spirit and shares the beauty of all that she hears in her work with plants and people.

All La Abeja Herbs medicines are made by hand, in small batches, in a way that all of our ancestors would recognize. Each remedy is inspired by the plants themselves and offered humbly to all in hopes that they will bring us closer to ourselves and to the land. All medicines are made in accordance with the lunar phases: begun at the time of the dark Moon, then pressed and bottled when the Moon is at its fullest, pregnant with the completion of a cycle and more potent than at any other time. They source their herbs, packaging, and shipping materials with great care, and are always working to partner with folks tending land and cultivating plants in a good way. Some medicines are gathered form the while and, when this is the case, they take care to tend and nurture the land and adhere to wholehearted wildcrafting guidelines.

True reciprocity sits at the center of all that La Abeja Herbs does. They donate a percentage of all revenue to BIPOC-led organizations and groups doing work at the intersection of social and environmental justice.
