Perhaps the most widely researched medicinal mushroom, Turkey Tail is renowned for its deep immune support. Also beneficial for helping to tone the liver and improve gut health, this beautiful mushroom is a prebiotic for the microbiome: helping to induce the growth + activity of beneficial microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi in the GI tract (your microbiome and mycobiome!). A glycerin-based, alcohol-free extract, this potent and bioavailable tincture - utilizing sustainably cultivated Turkey Tail in Canada - is a true gift from the forest.
3.4fl oz/100ml
Shake before use. Squeeze dropper twice to get 1ml of tincture. Take 2ml twice a day. Consume directly under the tongue, with water, in coffee, tea, smoothies, elixirs, milks, or as advised by your healthcare practitioner. Keep out of reach of children. Store out of direct sunlight.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a health care practitioner prior to use.
Founded by holistic nutritionist, raw food chef, and wellness leader Tonya Papanikolov, Rainbo is inspired by a reverence for nature and its healing properties and a desire to reconnect people back to this innate wisdom.
From a young age, Tonya was sure of two things: her affinity and deep love for all-things rainbow, and that she was here to help people on earth. Her interest in mushrooms started in her early 20s and continued as she used mycotherapy to heal herself and clients. She has been foraging mushrooms in the Canadian forests for years and learning about longevity and the power of food as medicine for the past 15 years. She believes wholeheartedly that medicinal mushrooms have the potential to heal us, our environments and ecosystems, and our entire planet.
All mushrooms used in Rainbo creations are organic and sustainably cultivated in Canada, with the exception of chaga, which would take 20 years to cultivate to fruiting body! They do source local chaga sustainably and ethically from nature. Nature needs mushrooms, and Rainbo likes to keep them there as much and as abundantly as possible.
Sustainability is a pillar at Rainbo and is built into every decision they make, like using organic spent coffee grinds that would otherwise by thrown away to culture and grow their mycelium into healthy mushrooms (spores love to grow on coffee grinds), utilizing glass bottles with bamboo lids instead of plastic, 100% paper-based labels with lamination that is plastic-free, offering bulk mushroom tinctures to cafes and restaurants, and donating a portion of every single bottle sold to reforestation efforts and social justice causes.
