Incredibly luxurious and precious, Lala Earth’s Golden Egg Balm is the sister creation to her Golden Egg Serum, with just a touch of local beeswax added to deeply nourish and lock in moisture. Using eggs from her organic and wildly free backyard chickens, it takes about 100 of their egg yolks to get just 4oz of egg oil. After the hardboiled egg yolks are separated from the whites, they are dehydrated, powdered, tinctured, and evaporated. What is left is the precious oil of egg.
The benefits of egg oil are vast, including that it is highly nutritive to the skin with an abundance of omegas 3 and 6, an excellent wound healer, moisturizing on a cellular level while providing free radical protection and powerful antioxidants, perfect for preventing fine lines and wrinkles due to its ability to minimize collagen damage, helps to reduce brown spots and hyperpigmentation, and delivers essential cholesterol that nourishes dry and damaged skin and promotes radiant skin.
