Swish about 2 tsp mouthwash in mouth for 30 seconds after brushing. Spit into sink. To refill: pour entire refill concentrate into empty 16oz glass bottle and fill bottle the rest of the way with filtered water.

Well the metal tube is recyclable (so important since each year about 1.5 billion toothpaste tubes end up in US landfills) with a food-grade non-BPA liner so no paste comes in contact with the aluminum, and the box in which the toothpaste comes is Forest Stewardship Council certified paperboard: ensuring that it comes from forests protected and managed by the FSC (the gold standard in forest certification).
