Summer Solace Tallow

Vetiver Grounding Tallow Bar Soap

Cleanse the body and ground the spirit with this slow-made, nourishing Vetiver Tallow Soap. Subtle and enigmatic, its scent is multitiered: at times dark and smoky, at others bright and citrusy.

Crafted from the rendered fat of California pasture-raised cattle, truly extra virgin olive oil grown by the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, healing calendula, nurturing and balancing rose and organic blossom hydrosols, and mineralizing California-harvested sea salt, this rich and hydrating tallow soap makes for an especially luscious cleansing experience.

The basis of all Summer Solace Tallow creations begins with obtaining suet (which is the fat from the inside cavity of the cow, closest to the loins and the kidneys, and encourages the honoring and use of all parts of the animal) from grass-fed cattle raised on 100% certified organic pasture lands just a few miles from the Pacific Ocean at Stemple Creek Ranch in Tomales Bay, California. The suet then gets rendered into a buttery soft tallow with a pleasant and mild scent, infused with organic whole plant calendula flowers grown in Sonoma county, and combined with local extra virgin olive oil from Seka Hills grown on Native American land by the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation in Capay Valley, California. It is this luxurious and soothing blend that is the basis of nearly all Summer Solace Tallow products.
